Some individuals believe that HCG can enhance muscle growth in its own right (without the use of AAS varieties) and in theory at least, this is absolutely possible.
Let’s now observe whether or not this is indeed the case so that you can make your own mind up about whether or not you’d like to purchase it for this purpose.
Does HCG Help To Build Muscle?
Testosterone plays a vital part in the muscle building process. What we’ve got to assume in this instance is that the user possesses “normal” testosterone levels, and chooses to take HCG as a means of boosting said levels beyond their normal means.
We know from the very limited information available in regards to testing for this purpose that in those who are testosterone deficient, HCG can deliver an increase of as much as 2kg of lean tissue within a four week period.
This falls relatively in line with the returns one may achieve when using testosterone for the same duration. What you’ve really got to consider is whether or not HCG can elevate free testosterone levels to the same extent as testosterone itself can.
One particular test showed that HCG can elevate free testosterone levels by up to 150% in men with age related androgen deficiency.
Let’s assume we can apply that 150% increase to a body that is capable of synthesizing testosterone at healthy levels (which is almost never the case – those with deficiencies often achieve much higher increases than those with standard hormonal capacities in test situations), normal synthesised testosterone can increase free testosterone levels by at least 3 times the normal amount.
As such, it truly makes very little sense to implement HCG for this reason primarily though it can indeed provide a foundation for increased muscle growth. The increase potential is simply too marginal.
